I'm not doing very great to be honest.
Life is getting sorta tough, and I wasn’t prepared for these changes. I went to band and halfway through the period, he addressed the issue. You know when he starts out with, “you guys know I’m not about being sentimental and all…” that I’m already holding back tears. He started giving a speech about how he did absolutely everything he could. He even offered to...

So it’s official. They cut all music classes at my school. They laid off and elementary school music teacher, so my band director has to teach in her place. This means:
No orchestra.
No concert band.
No jazz.
No band camp.
No marching band.
No theory classes.
No way to join NCCC.
The only way I can continue playing the flute in concert band and marching band is to take a bus over to...

Day 19:
A talent of yours.
I write poetry.
“Sunset Chasing”
Enough of the frost-bitten nights And these frigid days. I want my balmy afternoons And my tepid evenings. I’m loathing these icy sidewalks And these frosted windows. I lust for the bright sun And pleasant pool water. I’m sick of this mid-winter shadow stabbing. I want my end-summer sunset chasing.
I’m not any...

Day 15:
A fanfic.
If You’re Under the Impression by me.
///
Eli held a gun directly in front of her between her two trembling, fair-skinned hands as Moonlight Sonata echoed falsely from the piano where my, now ex-, boyfriend rested his dead little head on the white piano keys as he winked at me. I looked back at Eli, fear fluttering in my head that felt the same as when you’re...

Last night, I saw the AP Tour (You Me at Six, The Secret Handshake, Set Your Goals, Mayday Parade, and The Academy Is…) with Cassie and Lauren. We ran late because we hit traffic, so by the time we parked (almost a mile away) got there, doors were already open. I bought a TAI hoodie, tour shirt, and TAI bracelet, all for $70. As soon as we got out of line, I saw that TAI had a signing going....

So I hung out with Karen today. She picked me up, and we went to the mall for her costume shopping. We ran into Liz, Lauren, Sam, and Nick. We played “chubby bunny”, too.
Then Karen and I went back to her house and carved pumpkins with her sister, Heather, and made pumpkin seeds. I’m going to post a picture of my carved pumpkin in the dark. It’s pretty radical.

Here’s all of my photography from more than a year ago until now.
Enjoy.

Good morning.
It’s 5:30am and I woke up at 4 this morning. 5 hours of sleep. I keep hearing noises in my dark house, but I try to shoo that age-old paranoia away. My throat hurts like a bitch. It feels like someone pierced holes through my tonsils. I’ll probably still go to school, though. Which sucks. And I feel like a moron right now. Like everyone else in the world is snoozing...

Ahoy.
Today I got off the bus and got right in my car and went and got a cut and color done at Beauty Mark Salon in Broad Brook, CT. Liza, the owner, cut it and everything. It’s a pretty burgundy and layered. The bang does the swoop and everything. I can already feel your jealousy.
Hopefully it can catch Mr Perfect’s eye tomorrow. Also, class pictures are tomorrow. I have no clue...

Today was the Names Can Really Hurt You assembly for the Freshmen and Sophomores. A day-long assembly in school from the beginning of 2nd period to the last bell. I was dreading this. I thought it was going to be a dumb workshop saying “stop calling me/her/him/them faggots.” But that wasn’t the case.
It was played out like Mean Girls. They had a panel of people talking about how...
september 24th; move me
The friendly smile manipulatively grinned as the creators took me and had me grimly pinned with over-thought rules and empty threats, harmless punishments and unpaid debts.
I look in the mirror and the reflection rings innocent but I feel so easy vulnerable, useless.
Every tear decreases innocence and boosts weakness. But they keep coming. Because I’ve got everything to...

So today was an inglorious day.
I woke up at about 10am and my cousin Amii came over. We then proceeded to catch the movie Inglorious Basterds with Brad Pitt. UH MAZING, MOOOOOOOOOOVIE~
I just watched Hitler die on the big screen. I can die happy now. BEST. MOVIE. EVER. I can sleep good.
So we couldn’t go through the rest of the mall to get to our car, which was conveniently parked on the...

School was great whatever.
My weekend is totally ruined. I thought I had a band competition this weekend, so I said no to Lauren for camping. Apparently the competition is next weekend so I’m stuck here. Lauren is at the camp and dreading it. Apparently the place sucks and crowded and she’s bored. I don’t have anything to do this weekend except for hanging with Mike on Sunday.

Today was my first day of Sophomore year and it was pretty damn awesome.
Asside from my locker troubles, a bad transfer, and guidance not letting 13 kids drop band, today was great.
First was Algebra with the Baby’s Momma. (Hey, Brooke! :D)
Second was Biology with a ton of my friends with a bad teacher.
Third was English with a skipping teacher. (lol.) He also said the word,...

Today the September air exhaled for the first time and I actually felt a chill. The leaves are false advertising. My goose bumps rise. I’ve been yawning uncontrollably. My eyes feel like they’ve been closed all summer and I opened them for the first time from a long nap. Time to work.
Today was the last day of summer vacation, and school starts tomorrow. I did nothing special today...
